PGIMER Chandigarh has posted a job for the position of Assistant Professor with 01 no. of vacancies on a contract basis at PGI, Satellite Centre, Sangrur, Punjab. The basic eligibility criteria for this position is a postgraduate qualification i.e. MD of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. Selection will be made based on a personal interview. All eligible and interested candidates The candidates applying for the post(s) in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the aforementioned posts(s) and must fulfill all the eligibility criteria on or before 08.12.2023 failing which their application will be rejected.. The application in the prescribed proforma available in the PGIMER, Chandigarh website (www.pgimer.edu.in) along with copies of certificates duly attested by the Gazetted Officer in support of educational qualification(s), experience, age/date of birth certificate, No Objection Certificate from the present employer, if employed and one copy of challan form should be sent through registered post or Speed Post or personally only to the Administrative Officer (Recruitment Cell), PGIMER, Sector-12, Chandigarh 160012 so as to reach before 08.12.2023 till 04:00 PM. All the documents furnished with the application shall have to be produced in original by the eligible candidates at the time of interview.

a.   A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). 

b.  A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Radiology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized  by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.

 c.  The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.

(i) The Challan form of application form will be available on PGI website from 10.11.2023 to 28.11.2023 (23:59 hours) after which the link will be disabled.

 (ii) The last date of deposit of application fee in the Bank is _04.12.2023_.

 (iii) The last date of receipt of offline applications (hard copy) in the Recruitment Cell is 08.12.2023 till 04:00 P.M.

 (iv) Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the above noted posts.
