The pay structure of the Medical Officers shall be Rs. 15600-39100+5400 (GP) (Pre-revised) and Rs. 56100/-, Level 10 and Cell-01 as per 7th CPC.
(i) A recognized MBBS qualification included in the First or Second
Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate
qualifications) to the Indian Medical act, 1956, Holders of educational
qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also
fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship - Candidates who
may not have completed rotating internship shall be eligible to appear
for the written examination provided that, If selected, they shall have
satisfactorily completed the compulsory internship before
Upper age limit for the post of Medical Officer is 32 yrs as on the last date of submission of applications.
The appointment shall be initially for a period of 05 years on tenure & contract basis with a notice
period of 3 months from either side for severance of the contract. Further extension will be based on annual
performance appraisal report up to the age of superannuation in the Government of NCT of Delhi. The
candidates while appearing for interview will produce all relevant original documents along with one number of
self-attested photocopies of all testimonial/certificates and one passport size photograph.
